Born from postcard gatherings and the conversations that refused to end, The Community Collective is a free, open-door night for connection, creativity, and community care.
Think casual hangout with a purpose.
Write postcards. Make a DIY poster or button. Share music, poetry, or a short story during a relaxed open mic. Or just sit, listen, and exist in the same room as other humans.
There’s free homemade soup while it lasts. If you’re able, bring a non-perishable food item or basic necessity to donate. Everything collected goes to local families in need.
Low pressure. No performance required. Just show up.

🕯️ Bring Your Own Vessel Candle Pour
📍 Cultivated Essentials Co., 28 Frederick Street, Hanover
🗓 Sunday, January 11 | 🕙 10 AM – 4 PM
Bring a favorite vessel from home and turn it into a custom candle. Choose up to three fragrances and pour something personal.
Vessels must be clean, heat-safe, and no larger than 5” tall or wide. Ceramic and heat-resistant glass work best. Each vessel is inspected before pouring.
Pricing:
$1.75 per ounce of wax
$4 studio fee per session
$2 per additional vessel
Wooden dough bowls require a $5 sealing fee and one-week advance drop-off.
Creative, practical, and a solid excuse to finally use that container you’ve been saving for “something.”
