Most political news lives in the extremes.

It’s either rage bait meant to rile you up, or echo chambers that only reinforce what you already believe. The result? More division, less understanding — and a lot of burnout.

We give you the full story on one major political issue a day, broken down with arguments from the left, right, and center — plus clear, independent analysis. No spin. No shouting. No bias disguised as truth.

In just 10 minutes a day, you’ll actually understand what’s happening — and how all sides see it.

💌 A Note From Megan

Thank you to everyone who voted in the recent poll! I truly enjoy writing these Thursday “Top 5” emails just as much as my Friday issues. Now I’m already dreaming up a third weekly edition.

Hear me out: it wouldn’t even require reading.

Yep, I’m talking about an audio newsletter. I’d also host it on podcast platforms or livestream on Facebook. Think interviews with small business owners, local stories, standout accomplishments, and deep dives into Hanover’s rich history. I’d start tomorrow if I could, but first this newsletter needs to be profitable.

My plan is to fund it through local advertising, but I need more subscribers before that’s feasible. I started Heart of Hanover knowing it could take a year or more of investing my own time and money before it became self-sustaining.

The more I write, the bigger the dream gets. That’s why I’m now exploring investors, grants, and other creative options. Going it alone means monetization in 1–2 years; with outside support, I could get there in 3–6 months.

So here’s my ask: if you’re a local business owner, community leader, or just deeply invested in seeing Hanover shine, what is your vision for Hanover? What are your big dreams for the future? And what are you working on today that will get you one step closer to your desired future?

Please, please reply to this email with your answers to my questions. I’m still in the early stages of networking for my business. It’s not often that I get the chance to talk about this stuff. This is truly the kind of conversation that lights me up!

Don’t let me down this time - be brave enough to reply!!

And as I mentioned at the top of this email, a big thanks to today’s sponsors, Tangle and Morning Brew. Clicking their links at the top and bottom of every email takes only seconds, but it directly supports Heart of Hanover’s growth and helps bring my big dreams closer to reality.

See you tomorrow, beautiful. Same time, same place.

XoXo – Megan 🌻🌻
